“I had a great experience at the Shenandoah Medical Center. It was suspected that I might have colon cancer so I was introduced to Dr. Rebecca Rose and found her to be a very honest and sincere doctor. She listened patiently to my concerns and she was upfront with me. I really felt that she had my back and was concerned about me. I had some polyps but none were cancerous. Thanks to Dr. rose for discovering this early! I am so lucky and happy to be alive!”

“I spent 4 days in the hospital after knee replacement surgery. All of the nurses and other medical staff were awesome and very attentive. I would like to give a special shout out to the Physical Therapy department. They were very helpful, knowledgeable, and most importantly patient. I enjoyed visiting with everyone in this department, including the gals at the front desk. Everyone is cheerful and very friendly. I will choose SMC for future medical visits. Thank you!”

“Our son was delivered at Shenandoah Medical Center and the staff was amazing. Their team was very professional and you can tell how much they care for their patients. They made sure my girlfriend and our son was well taken care of before, during and after birth. Thank you Dr. King, Sam and the nursing staff!”

“I brought in my son to the ER as he had a pretty decent cut on his head, he was soaking wet as he was out riding his bike through puddles and jumping in puddles. A nurse brought us to a room immediately. A male EMT came in with warm blankets after the nurse & I got my son changed and on the bed. Dr. Bowery, was excellent! My son was scared to death to get staples but the staff members helped keep him calm. The nurse sat with my son while I drove home to get him some dry clean clothes. I arrived back to see my son comfortable, no more tears or fears, and eating pretzels watching TV. They also got him a Gatorade to drink. Our whole time in the ER that day was roughly only one hour! Great experience!”

“My experience with my third baby has been the most different and the most enjoyable! I had Jona as my midwife and was able to grow a bond with her I will forever be grateful to have. From beginning to end, everything was amazing. At every appointment I was excited to go in and see Lori and Jona. They made every appointment exciting. Every time I had an appointment, Jona would discuss more and more about how I wanted my labor to go. She listened to me and carried out all of my wishes during labor and delivery. We have had to use the Walk-In Clinic several times this winter for Strep, Flu and Ear Aches. Jessica Heitkamp has been spot on everytime with the diagnosis and provides the most effective medication to cure my children quickly. She is a Rock Star!
