Melissa received her Bachelors degree from the University of South Dakota in Social Work. Her primary work involved community mental health in SD. After two years she decided to attend graduate school in San Antonio, Texas where she obtained her Masters in Social Work in 1998. Upon graduation, she moved to Dalhart, Texas for a couple of years before she and her family moved to Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Melissa is very active in her children's lives and can often be found sitting on a bleacher cheering them on at sporting events. She enjoys being outdoors, riding her bike, running or her newest adventure - gardening! She lives in rural Shenandoah with her family and a plethora of animals.

Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Rose grew up in Essex and now lives in rural Shenandoah. She has worked as SMC for her entire Nursing/Nurse Practitioner Career. She treats clients age 18 and above who need help with diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and dementia. Mental health conditions require treatment, as do physical conditions, and a person should not suffer needlessly.
