Internal Medicine Physician

Dr. Smith is a graduate of Creighton University School of Medicine. He trained in Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduation he worked as junior faculty at the New Mexico VA and as chief resident at UNM where he worked closely with residents and medical students. He is currently board certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Smith joined the Shenandoah Medical Center in 2018 and practices outpatient Internal Medicine. His Interests include the management of chronic heart and lung disease, diabetes, and medically complex patients. He offers trigger point injections for chronic muscle pain, several types of joint injections for pain, and enjoys working with patients who are on insulin pumps. Dr. Smith is also passionate about medical education and is excited to be selected as teaching faculty for Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine to host medical students during their clinical rotations.

Stephanie is a graduate of Creighton University Doctor of Nursing Practice. She worked in dialysis, ICU and as an administrator prior to completing Nurse Practitioner School. She joined Shenandoah Medical Center in 2018 and practices in Internal Medicine. Stephanie is interested in Chronic Diseases such as Heart, Lung, Diabetes, etc.
